Cleveland-based commercial real estate firm, Allegro Real Estate Brokers & Advisors, officially announces its expansion into the Columbus area with a new office opening on Capitol Square at 20 S. Third Street. Allegro is moving into its new office on May 1, 2021. Allegro Managing Director, Michael Cantor, led the team in this decision, along with support of Allegro Associate, Liesel Schmader.
“Allegro has actively represented clients in the Columbus commercial real estate market for decades,” Cantor said. “Throughout the years, we recognized that Central Ohio was missing a commercial real estate firm with our unique characteristics. After completing a half dozen high-profile transactions over the last few years, we decided it was time to open an office.”
The team has chosen Capitol Square as its office location for several reasons. Allegro finds that commercial real estate talent is attracted to central business district locations through the firm’s own experience. Additionally, due to close collaboration with lawyers and other professional services firms, Allegro is strategically deciding to be located downtown, where they find most of these partners.
Allegro, celebrating its 20th anniversary this July, is offering its differentiated commercial real estate perspective to the Columbus area, including an exclusive occupier focus, such as tenant/buyer representation and corporate real estate outsourcing; salaried employees, creating a collaborative team approach to client challenges; and a global/national reach, while remaining deliberately independent from the big brand names.
“After working with several Columbus-area tenants and buyers over the years, we’re excited to finally establish a brick-and-mortar presence in the market,” Cantor concludes.
