A Fortune 500 Auto Insurance Company operated corporate facilities and call centers in five regional markets across the United States. Due to substantial business growth, the company needed to understand the labor market conditions in each region to support its ongoing site selection efforts. Initially, the company needed to determine the preferred labor market(s) for a new 1,000-employee customer service call center. On an ongoing basis, it desired a model to support decisions about siting future call centers within these five markets and beyond.
Allegro was engaged by this company to design a Labor Market Analysis Model and apply it to its immediate site selection process. We facilitated the identification and application of factors and variables relevant to assessing call center labor pools. Allegro conducted the study and delivered a report ranking the quality and availability of suitable labor in the client’s five targeted regions. Further, Allegro delivered a Labor Market Analysis Model, coupled with sources and instructions, enabling the client to apply these tools to future labor market analyses.
